Honestly, I came here to smash on JC because of course he took credit for Trent's work and i find that unfair, but so be it. What i notice is a lot of JC fans are Bible Thumpers... at 3:01 cash says, "And you can have it all, my empire of dirt" he then shows a picture of jesus close to pointless what looks to be baseball trophies that children would recieve... is anyone else catching on to what im trying to say? Ironically, this song was written by Trent, one of the most self-absorbed teens ever (teen at heart, I should say). I agree with you, though, that this video should really have beaten Timberlake. I don't care who wrote or anything of the sort, Johnny did an amazing job performing this. His voice captures and shines light on the sadness this song brings out. Johnny was an amazing singer and always will be. as for how "negative" he was, this is how some people view life, some don't agree with it but it's something you can't control. I for one love this and love the tone. It shows the dark side of life and shows that life isn't sunshine and rainbows for those who think it is
